Shay Mooney’s son, Asher James, celebrated his 1st birthday on Wednesday (1/24) with a pretty special party. Shay said his wife, Hannah, has been planning Asher’s 1st birthday party since the day he was born, and reveals that the festivities included a “Fiesta” and “Uno” theme complete with sombreros and plenty of cake.
The Dan + Shay singer also took Instagram to pen a sweet message to Asher, saying he’s brought him more happiness than he ever thought possible. Mooney also told Asher that he’s already so proud of him, calling him a “beaming light in a dark world.” He then wrote, “Thank you Lord for my family and this life we get to live. Hard not tear up just thinkin about it. I love you buddy.”
