Dan Smyers, half of the duo Dan& Shay, is now a married man!  Last night he married his sweetheart, Abby Law in Nashville, after dating her for over three years.

Since Smyers, has been touring extensively with his band, Dan & Shay, during their “Obsessed” tour, he left much of the wedding planning to his spouse Abby.  Originally, the couple had planned for a small intimate wedding, but it ended up being much larger.  “We were going to try and keep it super small.” Smyers stated, “but we have so many people that we love and care about and we both have decent-sized families. The numbers add up really quickly, but it’ll be great.”

In fact since both Smyers and Law are both vegetarians, and animal lovers, the wedding consisted of both vegan and vegetarian dishes.  They even had their four dogs, Chief, Joy, and Ghost in the wedding.

“We’re both vegetarians so there’s going to be a lot of vegetarian and vegan food options, and our dogs are going to be in the wedding so it’s going to be very us and laid-back.

”
