Dallas ICE Facility Shooting Kills 2, Injures 1; I-35 Shut Down in Gridlock for Morning Commute

UPDATE: 12:09 PM -Fox News reports the gunman is now identified as 29 year old Josuha Jahn.

DALLAS – (WBAP/KLIF) – Two people are dead, one critically injured and a gunman dead in what appears to have been an early morning targeted shooting directed at an ICE facility in Dallas. The two dead are reported to be ICE detainees, and the gunman is reported to have fired from a building next to the facility. The gunman, reported to have killed himself.

Sources tell WFAA-Tv the shooting occured during a loading or unloading of a bus of detainees. Details about the victims are not immediately available.

Officials say anti-ICE messages were found on bullets at the scene.

Identity of the shooter remains unconfirmed. A massive police remains on scene, at 8101 North Stemmons Freeway in Dallas, off Interstate 35E. Traffic on the freeway was shut down for several hours as police began to initially search for a shooter, and investigate the scene. The alleged gunman was found dead on the roof of a building adjacent to the ICE facility.
