JAKE OWEN UNVEILS NEW CINEMATIC MUSIC VIDEO

Jake Owen has unveiled the new cinematic video for “I Was Jack (You Were Diane),” his new single inspired by John Mellencamp’s 1982 classic “Jack & Diane.” The video takes viewers back to the early 1980’s, as a love story between two teenagers – Jack and Diane — unfolds before their eyes.

The video starts in the summer of 1982, as the couple sits in a diner having an argument about their future together. It then flashes between clips of the couple falling in love, that argument and their chance encounter ten years later. The music pauses several times throughout the video as Jack, played by Jake Etheridge, and Diane, played by Mackenzie Porter, bring this American love story to life.
