With New Years right around the corner, many people are making their ‘New Years Resolutions’, including the members of Midland.  However, they have a different take on making those resolutions.

Midland’s lead singer, Mark Wystrach says that too many people focus on the negative when making their ‘New Years Resolutions’, and that people should focus on improvement.  “I don’t believe in making resolutions to quit something.” he explained. “I believe in [making them to] improve something.”

“It’s always like, okay, what in my life am I not doing good enough?” Mark continues. “Instead of like being like, ‘I’m gonna quit doing this,’ I’m gonna be like, ‘Okay, I’m gonna drink better, or I’m gonna be a better friend.”

Meanwhile, the band’s bass player Cameron Duddy said, “I’m gonna drink more!”

Midland will be playing with Little Big Town at Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie, on February 10th.
