Carrie Underwood had to cancel her Sunday night concert after suffering injury in an accident back at her Nashville home. Last Friday she suffered a fall on the steps outside her house, which resulted in a broken wrist.
She was scheduled to perform at the Country Rising concert at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, which is raising money for hurricane relief efforts as well as to aid victims of the Las Vegas shooting. However, because of her injury, she will not be performing in that show.
After the accident, she went to twitter, where she thanked her fans for their well wishes and speculated that her recovery “might take some time.” Her next performance is a scheduled Grand Ole Opry doubleheader on December 9th.
