5 Things All Texans Are Snobby About

I don’t think we know anyone who is from Texas, and isn’t proud to be from here. It’s an amazing place to live, and if you aren’t from here sometimes you don’t understand that.

As Texans there are a lot of things we take very serious, and some people would even say we are a little snobby about it. If you think we are being snobby about it, you probably aren’t from here.

  1. BBQ- If you live in Texas you know we take our BBQ very serious. We demand the best, and because of that we have no problem telling you our BBQ is better than yours.

2. High School Football – Unless you live here you just don’t understand how big high school football is in Texas. Our high school’s have larger stadiums than most colleges.

3. Dr. Pepper – This basically speaks for itself. It still blows our minds when you leave the state that there are places that don’t serve Dr. Pepper. That’s like not serving sweet tea! If you still have doubts about Dr. Pepper, just make a trip to Dublin. You won’t regret it.

4. Queso – Let’s be honest, queso is not just cheese. For some reason when you leave Texas if you ask for queso, they just bring you cheese. We will never understand this. And yes, sometimes we put BBQ in our queso. See number one on this list if you need an explanation.

5. Whataburger – If you can find a best in Texas list and it doesn’t include Whataburger, it’s probably not a Texas list. If you hear someone call it Water burger, they aren’t from Texas. We also don’t care if you think In-N-Out is better, because it’s not. That’s a fact.

My morning is starting off GREAT #whataburger
