Even though she loves connecting with her fans, Kelsea Ballerini has decided to take a break from Twitter, after calling out some users for inappropriate online behavior.

Last Friday afternoon, Ballerini tweeted, “Can’t even believe I’m having to post this, but my timeline is FILLED with people being so mean to each other. I love my fans so so much, & am sad to see the hate in these comments to each other. It’s not what I stand for, I just want to make music and people happy. That’s it,”

Later in the day she tweeted, “Gonna take a little break from twitter and refocus on the music.”

No word on when Kelsea Ballerini will return to the social media platform, however in the meantime she will be focusing on her second studio album, which according to her, will focus on more serious themes.  Ballerini states that fans can expect songs about a difficult breakup and tracks about finding new love.
