So i’ve gotta say this last weekend was a pretty relaxing one. Don’t you hate sometimes feeling like you didn’t accomplish anything cause you hardly got out of your pjs, that was totally me. I even had time to use a face mask. That’s when you know you have time. I love sleeping, its my favorite activity. Anyways, I got enough rest for the rest of this week I think.
It gonna be a fun busy one. On a side note, hello Tropical Storm Bill by the way. That storm is no joke. It looked pretty amazing from the International Space Station. Check out the picture to your right. Looks pretty amazing from such a distance. It’s just sad all the destruction mother nature can bring.
Okay so on Friday, the fun begins!
Ill be out at Lone Star Park for another consecutive year of the Lone Star Music Series. Always a blast being out there, and this time we get to bring the Josh Abbott Band on stage! This isn’t their first time out there and i’m sure won’t be their last, they always bring in some of the biggest crowds. This picture is from one of those years. Talk about being hype! I think this one is from 2013. Such a great feeling being on that stage year after year. For that i’m grateful! Its one of the most exciting things about our job, feeling like a rockstar for 5 seconds.
We’ll be there starting at 7pm and the band takes the stage after the final race. Somewhere between 10:30-11pm. It’s only $5 to get in before 8pm and $20 thereafter. And make sure to get there early cause everyone tries to get there at 7:45pm.
The same thing goes for Saturday. I’ll be back out at Lone Star Park for the Gary Allan concert that’s part of the Lone Star Music Series too. Should be just as amazing as it was last year. They always have a great line up. And again it’s only $5 before 8pm and $20 thereafter. So if you can make some time for us this weekend and time for some ‘good times’, we’ll see ya there! I also know Darius and Brett Eldredge are in town on Friday, so if you’re not at Gexa i’m sure you’ll be at Lone Star Park!
