Meet Tex!

Howdy! I was born and raised right here in D/FW and outside of spending a few freezing cold years in Upstate New York for college (shoutout Syracuse Orange,) I have spent most of my life in the metroplex. I am a self-proclaimed “cool nerd” because while I am a geek at heart, I have no problem turning it off and having LOTS of fun, so don’t take me too seriously.

My passion for music was instilled in me from a young age by my mom. I remember driving around before and after school and listening to different songs, but more importantly, listening to the different DJs talk about the songs, or whatever was on their minds. What struck me even more was the fact that the DJs could make me laugh, cry, or feel whatever it was that they were feeling. Needless to say, I was hooked. I first started DJing parties when I was only 12 years old, and I was on the radio as soon as I could drive myself to the radio station. Since then, I have been on different stations in the area and across the country!

When I am not working, I love traveling the world with my wife, Renee, and spending time with our 4 rescue Dachshunds!
