Hawkeye & Michelle’s Pet for a Vet!
Pet for a Vet is an effort of New Country 96.3 and Hawkeye & Michelle to sponsor a puppy with Patriot PAWS Service Dogs, and follow our sponsored puppy through two years of training.
Every dollar raised for Pet for a Vet goes directly towards training our Service Dogs and providing bedding, enrichment, and other essentials needed for them to thrive. Since this program began in 2021, listeners of New Country 96.3 and “Hawkeye in the Morning, with Hawkeye & Michelle” have raised more than $130,000 to help provide Service Dogs for Veterans in need.

During the pup’s training, which takes about two years, our sponsored dog will be working toward the goal of becoming a fully certified public access service dog for a disabled Veteran.
