Sesame Street is Coming to North Texas

In celebration of the show’s 50th anniversary, Sesame Street is coming to Dallas. Their stop here is part of a 10-city tour. The dates to save on your calendar? July 3rd through the 6th. There is a free family festival and stage show at Main Street Garden on July 6. It’s being described as a “fun, interactive family festival and stage show, a giant maze, a treasure dig, photo opportunities, sweepstakes, a cookies-and-milk snack station, and more”.

A production crew will also be filming a new segment for the show’s 50th season, which plans to include local kids and Sesame Street characters visiting local landmarks across the city. Final details are set to be released later but you can RSVP The Sesame Street Road Trip on EventBrite here.  According to the site, “Everybody will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. You do not need to bring your tickets to the event.”
