A recent discovery of an autographed Taylor Swift guitar in the New Country 96.3 Prize Closet has led to a $16,000 donation to Cook Children’s Medical Center.
This guitar which had been signed by Taylor Swift in 2008 (along with autographs from Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Martina McBride, The Eli Young Band, Miranda Lambert, Casey Donahue Bleu Edmondson) had been stashed in the back of a closet and forgotten for over a decade.
The recent discovery prompted New Country 96.3’sHawkeye and Michelle to jump into action. An online auction was held with proceeds benefitting the local Fort Worth children’s hospital.
A final bid of $16,000 secured the treasure at 9:00am on April 17, 2026.
