On October 17, 2023, Hawkeye was named a 2023 Outstanding Eagle Scout by the National Eagle Scout Association and Dallas’ Cirlce Ten Council. Hawkeye became an Eagle Scout while part of Troop 182 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The National Eagle Scout Association recognized Hawkeye for his activities in the community: raising money and volunteering for Cook Children’s Hospital, his involvement with the BMW Dallas Marathon as a member of the Board of Directors and his 25 year Camp Bowie Boulevard Tree Project, which has transformed the historic street into a tree lined drive.
