HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!! Bring on the burgers, hotdogs, and drinks, but before you set off those fireworks REMEMBER – some pets are not okay with them. Here are a few things you can do to help keep your pet at ease this 4th of July:
- Keep them in a calm, quiet and familiar place. Skip taking your pet to a fireworks show full of strangers
- Take them on a walk, or to the park for exercise before the fireworks start. More exercise means less stress!
- Give them something to chew on for a distraction
- Keep them away from doors/windows
- Play some soft/calming music
- Make sure their collar info is UP TO DATE
