Shania Twain and Jake Owen will be hosting the newest singing competition on the USA Network this fall. Real Country is the name of the show that hopes to discover the next star in country music. In each hour-long episode, the duo will hand select emerging solo artists perform in showcases.
Real Country is currently accepting applications and video submissions. All submissions must be received by Monday, June 18th.
According to their website: “Each week, notable Country music icons will select one act from each showcase of acts. The winning acts move on to the grand finale to perform for a possible Cash Prize”.
