The huge announcement came today, a day before the PBR event going down at AT&T Stadium. This new country-themed bar is called, “PBR”. There are already a few other locations across the country, but this PBR Country Bar will be the flagship and the biggest one to date.
The bar itself will have a capacity of more than 1,500 and will occupy a 7,000-square foot balcony overlooking Arlington Backyard, a 5,000 capacity event concert pavilion.
The bar will be located on the second floor of the Lockhart Smokehouse, which was announced as part of Texas LIVE! last week. This as you know, is the development around the new Texas Rangers Ballpark.
The new place will also include 2 mechanical bulls. The PBR Country Bar will join a long list of planned facilities at Texas LIVE! previously announced, including Lockhart Smokehouse, Revolver Brewery, the Rangers Republic, Arlington Backyard and a planned restaurant by celebrity restauranteur Guy Fieri. Its expected to open in 2018.
