How To Help Texas Tornado Victims

UPDATE: Oct 24 – 5am

Dallas ISD officials have set up a tornado relief fund through the Dallas Education Foundation. They are also accepting donations at the following locations for the three schools that were destroyed in Sunday’s storm.

DISD is accepting supplies at these locations from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.:

Kathlyn Joy Gilliam Collegiate Academy, 1700 E. Camp Wisdom Road

Turney W. Leonard Training Center, 5151 Samuel Blvd.

One Center at Linus Wright Administration Building, 9400 N. Central Expressway, first floor

As victims of Sunday’s storms begin to clean up, there are North Texans ready to help.

Thomas Jefferson High School is in need of many school supplies and have also set up a GoFund Me page for the families of the students affected by the storms. Thank you to teacher Katelyn Blanco for the info below:

If you’re looking for other ways to help out, the city of Dallas is helping facilitate donations through the City of Dallas Emergency Assistance Fund. Donations can be made at dallemerasstfund.kimbia.com/dallemerasstfund.
